About Me

Who Am I?

I have worked in the fitness industry since 1998. In college, I started working in the weight room of the Bowling Green State University Recreation Center. My roommate introduced me to kickboxing aerobics and so began my love for group fitness. I graduated with an education degree but always had a place in my heart for fitness. I began working for St Andrews Family Fitness Plus in 2004 and slowly worked my way into my dream job as the Fitness Director. I continue to further my education every year by attending numerous workshops, certifications and fitness conferences. I enjoy sharing my passion with others and helping them with their health and wellness goals on a daily basis.

            PERSONAL TRAINING

 

Set your goals and go for it! I can evaluate your skill level and pick out a program to best fit your needs. I work with all fitness levels!

 

I work as the Coordinator the Charles R. Drew Wellness Center in Charleston, SC. You do not have to be a member to get personal training, however members receive the best discount. Ask me how to become a member today!

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I am not taking on any in person clients at this time.

            GROUP TRAINING

 

HIIT Boot Camp is a fast paced interval style workout.  We use a variety of tools, from your own body weight to free weights, to get you in the best physical shape possible. Everyone works at their own pace and skill level. Modifications and advanced options are given throughout. 


Land and Sea Boot Camp combines the best of both worlds. First we start with a 30 minute Tabata workout on land. Tabata is an interval style workout proven to burn mad calories. Then we hit the pool for 30 minutes continuing with the faced paced interval style workout.

 

Small group trainings are good for those on a tight budget.  You will still get the benefits of a trainer, without the higher cost. You also get benefits of a team motivation.
